Chicago Public Library - Firefox Search Plug-In
Introduction
The Chicago Public Library (CPL) Firefox plug-in adds a CPL catalog search option the Firefox search box.
How To Use
First install the search plug-in. Once installed, you can search the CPL catalogue by two methods:.

1) Select the CPL Search from the search drop-down menu and the enter your search criteria

2) Select the CPL Search from the search drop-down menu. You can now highlight any text in the current browser window and then search the CPL catalog via the option on the right-click menu. Firefox will display the catalog search results in a new tab.

You can highlight the title of any book, CD or DVD at an online store such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble etc and then easily search the CPL catalog. This will save you money, help the environment and support you local library system.
